When the three tenors have worked in a restaurant instead of “Nessun Dorma”, they may have founded the popular new tapas in Barbados.
Instead, three Italians in Barbados restaurant scene, collectively known to make wonderful food together. Located on the new promenade on the south coast, is located on two levels tapas space formerly Aqua. It is one of the most beautiful beach on the island.
Tapas is an elegant and pleasant, and on this island is known for its animal food, reasonable prices known. Four of us all want to tapas dishes, which opened to the imagination (and hoard our favorites, when the waiter brings them) and spent less than U.S. $ 100 for the table. Combined with a good bottle of white wine is noon, Barbados real negotiations. (And believe me, not the paradise is not cheap.)

The trio behind Italian Tapas consists of Alfredo Giovine, fabulous Mama Mia, Franco Parisi, former chief conductor of Lone Star and Dolce Gelato, Diamanti, Franco, who makes the best Gelato in the Caribbean, said – at least the fine set my sweet tooth myself.
I spoke with Alfredo, an evening, and asked why, has no advertising, tapas done so well since its opening in mid-August. Like Norah Jones music mixed with soft music of the waves in the background, Alfredo said he believes that Barbados and tourists hungry for something new and reasonable, and the word of mouth is full of place “almost every night.
I’m pretty sure that Franco and Franco and Alfredo all born with the gene-restaurant. The food is good without any problems, rarely a restaurant that just opened. The place also feels good when you are a local it is a place “where everybody knows your name” and if you are a visitor of the island, you will quickly feel at home.
